A modern drama of an American tragedy. A gripping story set in New York City, “A View From The Bridge” is the story of an admirable immigrant longshoreman, his family and the niece he cares for. Conflict ensues when he takes-in two of his wife’s cousins, illegally alien waterfront workers. Suspicion and rivalry sparks jealousy when a romance blossoms between the niece and one of the cousins of whom he does not approve. Questions of loyalties and hidden motivations lead to a climactic conclusion. The 1998 Broadway revival won two of its four Tony Award
